Description
Beautiful sleek modern Duetto sofa by Olof Ottelin made by Keravan Puusepäntehdas for the luxury retail store Stockmann in Finland.
Ottelin masterfully blended classic charm with sleek modern lines in this iconic design. As one of the first advertisements for the Duetto sofa beautifully stated:
*"Remember the old-fashioned grandfather's sofa... how comfortable and cosy it was? Although technology is rapidly advancing, Stockmann also wants to remember those who like timeless furniture styles. That's why it has created the Duetto sofa, combining the elegance of the old days with the sleek lines of modern furniture art. The Duetto is now within your reach... sit back and enjoy its softness and cosiness."*
This exquisite example has been reupholstered in a natural white wool fabric, enhancing its warmth and inviting appeal. A true timeless piece, the Duetto sofa effortlessly elevates any interior, then and now.
The listing includes an archival image from *Kaunis Koti* ("Beautiful Home") magazine, 1960, showcasing the sofa in its original context.
