Description
A stand out curved sofa (banana shaped) upholstered with a beautiful flower pattern, and made in Finland in the 1940s. This sofa is attributed to Paul Boman, but due to lack of documentation we won't know for certain. It's a perfect combination of style and comfort with the ergonomic design, quality craftsmanship and beautiful upholstery. A perfect addition to any vintage interior.
The sofa was up to our knowledge upholstered last in the 1990s (refer to pictures). Thus the condition is not up to standards anymore, and it does require new upholstery. There is a small hole in the fabric also. The frame's condition however is good considering the age, which is a testament to the quality and craftsmanship of Boman Oy. We choose to leave it in this condition rather than upholster it due to easier handling and packaging and shipping. And we might use the wrong colour and fabric material as well, so might as well leave to the end user to decide. -
