Description
A pair of walnut armchairs by Sapporo for Mobil Girgi, made in the 1970's, Italy. Stamped. Beautifully designed with angled front legs which extend to the sides and back of the chairs, the back support is slightly curved. The flat upholstered arms create lovely lines with the geometric shaped walnut supports, all perfectly fit within the structure. The rich grain of the wood contrasts beautifully with the newly upholstered cream textured cotton Italian fabric. The whole design reflects the modern and organic period of the 1970's in Italy. We also have the matching sofa and coffee table to make a complete set. Please see images herein and inquire.
