Description
A set of six French Louis XIII style dining room side chairs from the 19th century, with os de mouton bases, slanted camelbacks, cross stretchers and used floral upholstery. Created in France during the 19th century, each of this set of side chairs showcases the stylish characteristics of the Louis XIII era. Each chair features a tall, slightly slanted camelback, flowing into the hind legs. The seat and back are both upholstered with a used floral-themed fabric in fair condition, secured with a brass nailhead trim. The ensemble is raised on an os de mouton (mutton leg) base made of four scrolling legs connected to one another through a cross stretcher of similar style. With their nice proportions and Louis XIII style lines, this set of six French os de mouton side chairs from the 19th century will bring a majestic presence to any home, whether placed in a dining room or kitchen.
