Description
Cristal Art was a Turin-based company active in the furniture industry and particularly in furniture accessories. Founded by Giuseppe and Giovanni Donna in 1944, it had designer Giuseppe Raimondi as its artistic director. The company's leading sector was the production of mirrors and crystal furniture.
Present at major industry expositions beginning in 1949 (furniture fair, Milan trade fair, Paris and Lyon trade fairs) it soon became among the most successful manufacturers of crystal home accessories along with Fontana Arte of Milan (still in existence).
Here we have a glass shelf with brass details designed and produced by Cristal Arte in 1950 circa.
The item is in very good condition and ready to be shipped, fully original.
We recommend a wooden crate to prevent glass damage during shipping. -
