Description
French Modernist Credenza Sideboard late Art Deco. Sensational French sideboard made in Paris 1940's showcasing an Art Deco modernist design. Beautifully incorporated geometric triangular shapes sculpted into the door panels with incredible precise angles that define the depth and dimension. Radius corners to each side add sophisticated elegant softness to the overall design. The plinth raised on wedged platform base steps the cabinet up to be showcased. Three cabinet doors are framed in layered molding presenting as an art piece. Uniquely individual with exceptional design and craftmanship using solid and veneered oak. Having a locking center cabinet, 1 original key, with two adjustable shelfs. The larger doors on left and right open to adjustable shelfs with upper drawers. In very good condition. This credenza sideboard offers abundant storage with timeless design. A an extraordinary example of French style and design attributed to Gaston Poisson.
