Description
Striking round early 19th century Biedermeier dining- or center table coming from the famous period in Vienna/ Austria. Elaborately handcrafted around around 1830, this gorgeous round antique Biedermeier table impresses with an absolute fantastic looking star-shaped nutwood veneer pattern on the top plate, additionally adorned by those exceptional brighter mirrormatched fields around the center - absolutely gorgeous! Three artfully designed legs mounted on a hexagonal column confer it an impressive look and gives this remarkable Biedermeier table a secure and solid stand at the same time. The traditional hand-polished shellac finish reinforces the extraordinary grain of the very carefully selected nutwood. A truly one of a kind Biedermeier nutwood dining table from the early 19th century, coming in great old restored condition.
