Description
Alvar Aalto designed his innovative Fan Leg series of tables for Artek in 1954. This small table, model X601, was produced in the mid-1950s. It features a distinctive five-section fan of bent birchwood whose joins cascade down the legs and the original leather-wrapped top with a beautiful patina. The piece can serve as a side or occasional table or as a stool.
