Sculptural Charles Dudouyt Small Side Table / Stool in Oak, France, 1950s

$ 2,100
  • Description
    This charming, rare side table was designed by Charles Dudouyt and produced in France in the 1950s.

    The piece is crafted in solid oak, built around a turned central column of repeating faceted rings, each ring cut with precision to create a graphic, stacked profile. A circular top sits above the column, with a striking, figured grain, and an edge finished in a subtle rounded moulding. The base echoes the top with matching concentric ring detailing, giving the piece a cohesive, balanced silhouette from every angle. Small block feet lift the base slightly off the floor.

    The table is compact in scale, ideal as a small side table, a stool, or a plant table. Its low, rounded form makes it easy to place as a single accent piece in nearly any room.

    The table is in good, original condition, with an even, natural patina throughout.
