Description
This amazing brass and Lucite coffee table by Hollis Jones is quite possibly his most exquisite design.
Known for his innovation with the use of Lucite and metal, Hollis Jones is a master at combining elegance and wit.
The brass lattice work of the base shows his talent in seamlessly blending forms.
The top brass lattice seems to float on air while the bottom lattice provides a solid base. Truly genius.
This particular table was custom-made for a home in the Palm Springs area in the 1968 and it was acquired from the original owner.
The table is in very good original condition, the brass is clean and with a nice aged patina.
Measurements: 72 inches wide x 24 inches deep x 17 inches high. -
