Louis XV Style Flat Center Desk in Walnut and Elm

This elegant Louis XV style flat desk, crafted in the 20th century from solid walnut and elm, features a beautiful curved line and high-quality cabinetmaking. The front opens with two drawers in the frieze, adorned with moldings and discreet carved decoration. The drawers are traditionally assembled and slide smoothly. The frieze is arched with a wide central opening, providing comfortable use. The uprights are decorated with carved shell-shaped mounts, typical of the Louis XV style. The desk rests on four cabriole legs ending in scrolls, adding considerable elegance to the piece. The top displays a beautiful walnut grain with a lovely antique patina. The desk is fully finished on all sides, making it suitable for use as a centerpiece.
