Description
This very rare dining table was designed by Osvaldo Borsani in 1945 and produced by his company Arredamenti Borsani in Varedo, Italy. The piece is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued by the Osvaldo Borsani Archive in Milan.
The design is defined by the refined form of the pedestal base, composed of four splayed, curved legs in solid walnut. The round top is crafted in veneered walnut, displaying a beautiful, expressive grain and a rich, warm tone. The table reflects the refined craftsmanship of Arredamenti Borsani's production and embodies the elegance and sculptural presence of Italian modern design.
The table is in good, restored condition. The wood with a natural patina and minor signs of wear consistent with age and use. -
