Description
Created in the 1970s for Tifffany & Co., this bi-color 18K gold bracelet originated in the workshops of Georges Lenfant, Paris. It is designed as a series of oversize circular links joined by smaller arched ovals, all formed of alternating sections of gray and yellow gold wirework mesh. Rich and complex in materials and workmanship, this sleek bracelet is nonetheless modernist in its sleek design and timelessness.
Dimensions: 8.00" length, 1.00" width
Materials: 18K White and Yellow Gold
Gram Weight: 103.5
Signed: TIFFANY & CO. FRANCE 18K C, Georges L'Enfant maker's mark
In the 1970s, the work of the atelier under Jacques Lenfant continued to experience strong demand. Tiffany, Cartier, Hermès, and other top houses turned to Lenfant to create their own signature handmade, beautifully-textured gold jewelry designs, which retain their appeal and total modernism over fifty years later. -
