During Victorian times, it was fashionable to commemorate the deceased with a piece of hair jewelry or skeletal reference. We have seen many examples of Memento Mori over the years but never one that was also EROTIC. Perhaps this piece was dedicated to a former partner whose prowess was unforgettable? The pendant shows age patina but is still in great condition. The inside of the coffin's lid (marked 14K) has some age stains but we will leave that up to the new owner to polish if desired. We believe this was made before 1900. Approximately 6.0 dwt ( 9.3g) and measures 1 1/2 inch by 5/8 inch (4 cm x 1.6 cm) To view him in his full magnificence, the lid slides to the side, and he springs into action!! We offer this in good humor and hope it does not offend anyone viewing this.
