Description
A German bronze chandelier in the Greek taste by, Otto Schmidt-Hofer (1873-1925), in the form of an oil lamp. Signed 'Schmidthofer' Suspended from three bars with curling snakes supporting scrolling candle arms, centered by a standing figure of a male and a torchere with a flame, mounted with palmettes interspersed with female masks, the pendant with a ring. Measures: Height 38 inches, diameter 21 inches.
