Authentic Bauhaus desk lamp Designed by Marcel Breuer. Designed for the International Exposition of Modern Industrial and Decorative Arts, in Paris 1925, number 55 of 100. Articulating movement up and down with full 360 rotation. Composed of brass plated nickel, granite inlay bearing Paris Exposition insignia Marcel Breuer engraved and stamped. In very good condition. New wiring and socket with dimmer.
A very special lamp still modern and timeless after 94 years. Bauhaus 1919 - 1933,
