Scarpa 'Monk' Chairs in Patinated Cognac Leather, Set of Four - 1970s
-
Description
Cognac leather "Monk" chairs designed by Afra & Tobia Scarpa in 1974 and produced by Molteni. The frame is made of beautiful walnut and the seat and backrest is of a thick saddle leather in cognac. Afra & Tobia Scarpa are also very renowned for their 'Africa' chair and artona series for Maxalto. The patina on the leather on these chairs is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen.
