Hoon Moreau

South Korean, 1967
Perfect balance supported by a subtle fragility, sensual intimacy nuanced in a spectacular dimension, instant stealth captured in a timeless space, the work of Hoon Moreau is a travel diary where design takes shape in harmony with the emotions and sensitivities of the artist.

Inspired by the world around us - rock formations, landscapes or the evening sky - Hoon Moreau tries to reinterpret them with her unique visual language in the furniture she creates. Poems, songs of joy, fairy tales or nostalgic reminiscences intertwine in a harmony of movement.

Passionately dedicated since childhood to the fine arts, especially sculpture, a connoisseur of architecture and interior design, enthusiastic admirer of the art of past centuries, sensitive to the splendor of haute couture and jewelery, she find in all of these inspiration for innumerable possibilities of expression.

Sculptor, interior designer, designer, Hoon Moreau puts the precision of her technical prowess at the service of the creation of works that enliven our daily spaces. Her sculpted furniture combines poetic creativity and meticulous craftsmanship, breaking the barrier between art and life, beauty and utility. In search of a symbiosis, on the one hand between the quintessence of nature and the crystallization of sublime beauty, on the other hand between artistic creation and functionality, Hoon Moreau proposes a new aesthetic adventure that becomes reality.
