Globo Luna by Silvio Mondino Studio, Sculptural Table Lamp, Polished Brass

Globo Luna is a Sculptural Italian Table Light designed by Silvio Mondino Studio, conceived as a flexible composition of light, glass, Brass, and Canaletto Walnut. Its Hand-Blown Glass globe is held within a carefully crafted ring, while a Brass rod crosses the sphere, carrying a concealed LED that creates a soft, atmospheric halo through the glass.

The Brass and Canaletto Walnut ring is an essential part of the composition. Hand-carved on the inside, it is shaped to hold the glass globe while allowing the position of the light to be subtly adjusted. The combination of Machined Brass, naturally grained Canaletto Walnut, and hand-worked details gives the base a character of its own, making it an integral part of the piece.

Designed to be placed on a console, side table, bedside table, or shelf, Globo Neptune brings a distinctive presence to different areas of the home. The adjustable position of the light allows the relationship between the globe, the source of illumination, and the surrounding space to change subtly, creating different expressions of light and shadow.

With its simple geometry and sculptural presence, Globo Luna brings together the warmth of Canaletto Walnut, the precision of Machined Brass, and the organic character of Hand-Blown Glass. As the concealed light passes through the glass, the globe becomes almost immaterial, revealing a soft halo that gives the piece an atmospheric presence both illuminated and unlit.

Each piece is finished and assembled by hand in the Silvio Mondino Studio in Italy. Made to order, Globo Luna can be customized upon request.
