Fulmine — Floor-to-Ceiling Light in Brushed Brass by Silvio Mondino Studio

Fulmine is a Sculptural Italian Floor Lamp designed by Silvio Mondino Studio, defined by an essential and highly expressive form. Its elongated silhouette rises through a sequence of precise changes in direction, tracing a quiet movement through space while preserving the purity of the form.

Inspired by the essential gesture of a lightning bolt, Fulmine translates movement into a refined architectural form. The structure appears almost weightless as it rises through the space, yet its scale and presence give it a distinctly sculptural character.

There is a quiet sense of balance within the composition: each change of direction creates a new relationship between the line of the structure, the surrounding space, and the light. Seen from different perspectives, the silhouette changes subtly, revealing new proportions and a different sense of movement.

Fulmine sits somewhere between a Floor Lamp and a Suspension Light, challenging the conventional idea of where a light should begin and end. Its vertical presence allows it to become part of the architecture while retaining the intimacy of a freestanding object.
