Angelo Mangiarotti was a very important italian architect and designer, born in 1921 in Milan. He studied architecture at the Politecnico of Milan and gratuated in 1948. He then went to the US for a short period of time where he had the chance to meet Frank Lloyd Wright, Walter Gropius and Mies van der Rohe, who were crucial to his own growth and style development.
Here we have a table lamp model Lesbo made by Mangiarotti in 60s for Artemide. It is made in brushed aluminum base and Murano glass diffuser made by Vistosi. On the bottom you can see (as shown in photos) the original text about the manufacturer, the designer and the model of the lamp.

Good condition, fully original.
We recommend a wooden crate as the lamp is fragile.
The light can be rewired for US standards upon request.
