Beautiful Italian Louis XVI style painted wooden frame and hand decorated floral design bench with silk damask blend upholstered seat from the mid century. This bench features hand carved fluted details to the arm rails and legs. The arms are padded with manchettes at their centers, and terminate into tightly scrolled carved knuckles all resting on a four flutted legs. The upholstery is very bright , beautiful and in immaculate condition. Structurally sound piece of furniture, of excellent proportion, ideal for use in any living room or studio. Great seating addition under a window, hallway or at last the foot of a bed. The bench measures 59 inches length, 15 inches wide, and 22 inches high. The seat high is 15 inches
