Description
Available today, this one of a kind Mid-Century Modern Phone Table made in the fifties is a showstopper!
The piece is made in hardwood and plywood and features two shelves with gray formica top and four toothpick legs. The style of this table is similar to Moveis Zanine coffee tables (from Jose Zanine Caldas) but with a more funky touch.
This piece has all the fun aspects of a true bold Mid-Century Modern piece: clean, angular lines that are unmistakably Brazilian modern. A gorgeous accent like this would look wonderful in any Mid-Century Modern, modern, contemporary environment next to a table lamp and a flower base.
This piece belonged to an apartment in the Rio de Janeiro's Downtown and when I saw it, we fell in love at first sight! This piece is another example of great furniture making of the time.
