French 19th Century Louis XV Style Painted Fauteuil

Dimensions: 38 ½” H x 28 ½” W x 21 ½” D

A fantastic and regal French Louis XV style painted fauteuil recently upholstered. The painted gold frames have been carved with exquisite craftsmanship and feature intricate cross hatch designs, florals, rosettes, acanthus leaves and vining. The upholstery is plush deep orange velvet with gold trim held securely in place all around with well patinated brass nailheads. Classically French in design and very comfortable.
