Description
This rare table lamp was designed by Ture Berglund in the 1940s and produced by Skansens Glasbruk in Stockholm, Sweden.
The design features a baluster-shaped base in mouth-blown green glass. The glass has a beautifully textured appearance, created by irregular air bubbles trapped within. The lamp is fitted with a brass-colored cap and a top-mounted socket with cord exit. A slightly tapered lampshade—recently renewed in an ivory, linen-textured fabric—offers a soft contrast to the green hue of the glass.
The lamp is in very good condition. It has been recently rewired and is currently fitted with 220V European wiring and plug. Standard E26/E27 bulb fitting. Shade renewed.
Total height including shade: 38 cm / 14.96 in
Height of the base only (excluding shade): 26 cm / 10.24 in
Diameter of the shade: 25 cm / 9.84 in
Diameter of the base: 15 cm / 5.91 in -
