A pair of vintage mid-20th century French “Maria Theresa” style wall sconces in a dazzling array of glass blowing techniques, set off with brass hardware. Each sconce features a pair of arms with faux candle covers for candelabra-base lightbulbs, rising from clear glass bobeche dripping with sharply faceted crystals. The brass arms are enclosed by flat strips of pressed glass pieces that are held in place by tiny rosettes, true to the “Maria Theresa” style. A clear glass dome covers the new brass backplates added to securely mount the fixtures to the wall.
