1950s Italian Brass and Green Enamel Wall Sconce with Sculpted Opaline Shade

$ 1,500
  • Description
    This 1950s Italian wall sconce features a refined combination of brass, green-enameled metal and wood, and a uniquely shaped opaline glass shade.
    The glass has a sculptural, elongated silhouette reminiscent of a delicate vase — narrow at the neck, gently swelling at the center with a soft, rounded volume, then tapering again toward the socket. Fine vertical line details subtly emphasize its curves and add a dynamic visual rhythm to the surface.

    A brass arm connects the light to a circular 10 cm wall plate, while two decorative green enamel accents — one at the upper bend of the arm and another drop-shaped finial beneath the socket — introduce a playful mid-century character. The brass elements show an authentic patina consistent with age.
