Description
Dimensions: 67 ½” H x 61 ½” W x 24 ⅜” D
A magnificent ebonized cabinet from 19th century France carved with a paneled design and Neoclassical elements over the exterior that enhances the magnetism of such a grand storage piece. Protective lion faces on the door fronts are part of the central rosette surrounded in scrolling elements that give further depth and movement to the bold geometry of this large case piece. The upper and lower bodies are separate units that offer one long shelf each to organize clothes, household linens, dinnerware, and more. At the base, just above the bun feet, is a shallow drawer opening by the most exquisite drop handle hardware, matching the exuberance of the scrolled motifs in the panels above. Cleaned, tightened and polished this antique is ready for the next generation of owners. Please view the detailed images to see the current condition.
Shelf depth: 14 ¾” -
