Thorald Madsen was a master Danish cabinetmaker whose workshop, Thorald Madsens Snedkeri, was a cornerstone of mid-century Danish furniture production. Operating primarily from Copenhagen, he was known for exceptional high-quality craftsmanship and collaborations with prominent architects & designers of the era. Madsen's workshop was part of the prestigious Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild, participating in their annual exhibitions which defined the "Danish Modern" style. Thorald Madsen pieces were produced in a cabinetmaker’s workshop rather than a large factory, they were made in limited quantities and are now highly sought after. -
