Two French Hexagonal Copper Lantern with Domed Top
-
Description
This pair of French hexagonal lanterns features beautifully aged copper domes with a naturally developed verdigris surface, giving each piece an authentic and distinguished patina. The domed tops sit above six-sided beveled glass panels that create a classic lantern form, supported by a sturdy darkened metal frame and elegant arched suspension arm. Each lantern is fitted with candle-style electric lights, offering warm illumination while preserving the atmosphere of traditional flame-lit fixtures. The combination of weathered copper, clean geometric glazing, and robust ironwork highlights the refined craftsmanship associated with early 20th-century French lighting. These lanterns are substantial in scale and suitable for both indoor and covered outdoor use, making them ideal for entryways, kitchens, galleries, or any space requiring character and presence. Their symmetry and matching patina allow them to be used as a pair or individually. Electrified and ready for installation.
