Description
A large-scale "sac-à-perles" chandelier executed in the Empire style. The fixture features a tall, tapered upper tent of crystal chains descending to a wide brass ring ornamented with classical foliate rosettes. Six scrolled brass arms extend from the central band, each supporting a faceted glass bobeche and candle-style lamp holder. The lower section forms a deep basket of graduated crystal beads, terminating in a large faceted crystal ball. Its grand proportions make it an ideal centerpiece for a formal entryway or a high-ceilinged hall.
