Description
This striking pair of stools was produced in Italy in the 1950s.
The design is defined by the elegant sculptural tripod bases in solid patinated brass. The frames feature a fluid, organic silhouette with slender, splayed legs and delicate cross supports, giving the pieces a sense of lightness. The pair is ideal as occasional seating or sculptural accent pieces
The stools have been reconditioned and newly upholstered in a moss green bouclé Manuel Canovas fabric, whose soft texture contrasts beautifully with the warm tones of the brass. The brass remains in a nicely patinated, unpolished original condition. -
