1. Up Country Hawaii by Cullman & Kravis

Interiors by Cullman & Kravis

Ellie Cullman designed this refined Hawaiian retreat for Oprah Winfrey. Instead of taking the tropical route, Cullman used traditional American furnishings and decor to create a truly singular and unexpected island getaway. The bright and airy residence features an abundance of natural materials, including rich woods, wicker, and stone, which reinforces the home’s connection to its lush surroundings. A spectacular mix of antiques, including folk art weathervanes, Chippendale tables, and Gustavian furniture, add to the residence’s timeless appeal. Click here to view the full project.

2. Contemporary Elegance by Eberlein Design Consultants

Interiors by Eberlein Design Consultants

For this luxurious urban residence, designer Barbara Eberlein sought inspiration from the home's 360-degree views of Philadelphia. The spectacular backdrop—seen through numerous floor-to-ceiling windows—is both serene and commanding. For example, in the master bedroom suite, a peaceful tone prevails thanks to an ethereal palette and graceful furnishings, while the kitchen plays up the skyline’s bold, geometric forms. Sumptuous materials, including walnut, lacquered mahogany, gilded wood, tortoise shell tile, bronze, silk, bamboo, natural linen, and Calacatta marble, punctuate the residence’s elegant interiors. 3. Field by Alex Papachristidis

Interiors by Alex Papachristidis

This handsome residence—which boasts stunning ocean views— features a neutral palette complemented by rich browns and cobalt blues and punchy patterns that energize the home’s spacious, light-filled interiors. Designer Alex Papachristidis opted for a mix of sleek midcentury furnishings, including an Eero Saarinen tulip table and modern seating, as well as a carefully curated selection of classical pieces. The result is a relaxed beachfront getaway that manages to be both functional and exceedingly sophisticated. Click here to view the full project.
