His illustrious career in the fashion industry began in 1992 alongside iconic designer Christian Lacroix, where he played a pivotal role for nearly two decades. Along the way, Walckhoff showcased his design prowess through menswear, womenswear, and accessory collections for esteemed brands such as Kenzo and Michel Klein.
 
In 2010, Walckhoff's journey with Lacroix reached a pinnacle when he assumed the role of Creative Director. Under his visionary leadership, the Lacroix brand underwent a remarkable evolution, expanding into new realms of lifestyle design and home décor with resounding success. Building upon this foundation, Walckhoff has embarked on diverse ventures beyond Lacroix, defining his own distinct stylistic language.
 
From furniture design to collaborative projects with esteemed manufacturers such as Portuguese artisan Vista Alegre and glassworks with Verreum, Walckhoff continues to push boundaries and explore new creative territories.
