Description
A set of four sterling silver crab-form boxes by Buccellati
Italian, 20th Century
Height 5cm, width 11cm, depth 7cm
Crafted by Mabuti in Milan, Italy, and retailed by Buccellati these quirky, charming, and playful silver boxes are full of character, and make a delightful set of collector's pieces, for storage or show. They are marked for Gianmaria Buccellati, and further stamped 925 for the quality of the silver. The eyes are made of red coral that complements the silver sheen and gives them a much needed splash of colour that brings the pieces to life, and increases the already excellent level of realism.
Artist/Maker: Buccellati -
