    This beautifully textured Pair of Mid-Century Modernist Speckled Umber Glazed Vases by Gunnar Nylund for Rörstrand originate from Sweden, Circa 1950. This vases feature a rounded body with a gentle upward curvature tapering the cylindrical necks. The textural detailing is remarkable, a speckled pattern of numerous layers and hues with an exposed white glaze near the mouth of the vases. Rendered in muted orange earth tones and raw umber with a well balanced contrast in value. A beautiful example of the material strength and elegant designs of Mid-Century Modernism, these vases will style well in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
