Description
This SE Persian (Kirman Province) scatter show an off white field with 9 and columns of stylized stacked blossoms and associated leaves. Weaving moved from visual left to right and the tribal weaver did not space the motives to allow an even fit. The pattern neatly fits, however, end to end. Light-medium blue to dark brown border with two floral styles. Unusual design with a rich natural dye palette including indigo, madder and oak galls for the browns. Good condition.
