This well-woven, very compact Kurdish city carpet displays a red ground densely covered by a small-scale allover Herati design featuring curved "fish" leaves. Inward-facing palmettes adorn the navy strip-style main border. Two cream minor borders and a plain red outer stripe. A good condition, vintage piece ready for the floor.
