Eastern Caucasian west Caspian Caucasian rugs primarily scatters in geometric layouts some prayer from a wide range of local villages. Marasali prayer rugs are considered as the best.. Some pictorials. Wool warps often cotton wefts. Lowish pile moderate to fine weaves. Natural dyes exclusively until 1890s then synthetics appear. Moderate to high priced.
