Description
The open old gold/straw field is centred by a huge round "Shou" character ("Good luck") in medium-dark blue. The Shou character, in different form, is repeated in the generally open straw main border. The inner border shows a series of discrete dots of "pearls". Cotton foundation, moderate/medium weave. Good condition with very minor area of spot wear. An elegant carpet with simplified but effective palette.
