Description
This unusually formatted West Persian scatter shows an abrashed rose field enclosing a light-medium blue four palmette, palmette-pendanted wavily lozenge medallion. Flowering stems grow from the sides of the field and the navy corners show escutcheon and other palmettes. Navy main border with various rosettes and square bud arrays. Leathery handle, medium-fine rustic weave. Cotton foundation. Fairly good condition with a few small repairs.
