Description
Ivory is probably the most popular Farahan Sarouk ground tone, and this example features a color tending slightly toward straw, with two broken columns of palmettes around a central axis of flowering plants. Secondary stems, barbed leaves and small, open diamonds. Axis repeats at the sides. Strip style navy main border with various flowering stems. Natural dyes, leathery handle, well woven. Good condition.
