Description
The straw-sand field shows a three column design with concave lozenges interlaced with stiff stems on the sides and a central near black double line with finial rosettes. Secondary vinery with more rosettes. Teal green accents. Near black main border with inward cypresses and complex petal palmettes. Finely woven on cotton. More honest and more varied than contemporaneous Kashans. Tehran room size carpets are much less common than scatters. Good condition.
