A hand-made flatweave wool rug. The design is of tribal inspiration, incorporating blues, grays, ivory and red. The main field of this contemporary kilim rug features some well-crafted modern touches, such as the jagged, steel grey stripe running across it. The transition of colors from dark to light blue, and then to two distinct shades of grey, seems to resemble a mountain range seen from a distance. Traditional Moroccan motifs add an oriental aura to this design. Longitudinally, the rug is neatly delimited by two, striped end sections.
