Description
Hand-knotted un-dyed wool Tibetan rug with all-over geometric design. When tradition meets modernity, there is nothing left but to take the best of both. This fabulous contemporary abstract area rug is an example of the perfect merger of the centuries-old craft with modern art. Its tender, sheen pile was thoroughly hand-knotted of the first-rate natural wool in accordance with refined weaving techniques by a skilled artisan due to which the carpet will be able to serve its owners for generations without any signs of blemish. In terms of design, there are no borders at all, just an allover abstract geometric pattern which brings to mind oriental or Scandinavian ethnic pieces. Light brown and sandy beige hues form an extremely tasteful color palette which will easily match a wide variety of interior decors, from classic to modern. The field is purposely abrashed to create an effect of patina and add vintage charm to the composition. It is also a factor of quality, reassuring the buyer that the rug was dyed with the use of non-artificial tints. This contemporary, minimalistic natural wool modern rug sizes will satisfy even the most demanding carpet connoisseurs and lovers of uncomplicated yet timeless elegance. Doris Leslie Blau carries an exceptional collection of original modern rugs in many styles and materials. Contemporary hand-made rugs are a bridge throughout history, they are the fruit of the constant evolution of the weaving craft that has accompanied men since the dawn of civilization.
