Description
This exquisite pile modern rug by Paolo Moschino combines European elegance with American glamor, which results in an exceptionally balanced, classic composition with a modern twist. Moschino is widely renowned for his sublime designs permeated with multinational influences, always made with the greatest sense of style and moderation, yet far from boring. The whole concept of the pattern is simple - delicate branches, very much resembling of corals, sprout from the four corners of this contemporary carpet and form an elegant wreath in the center of the field. The application of colors is what does the whole trick - the background in gentle salmon hue sets the stage for the royal golden pattern. What also distinguishes this marvelous creation is the considerable size and a hand-made pile, executed from the best quality wool. From the hands of the ultimate tastemaker here comes a truly aristocratic piece which definitely fits in modern interiors. This Paolo Moschino rug designer is created to cater for the needs of the most demanding connoisseurs of interior decoration. Doris Leslie Blau carries an exceptional collection of original modern rugs in many styles and materials. Contemporary hand-made rugs are a bridge throughout history, they are the fruit of the constant evolution of the weaving craft that has accompanied men since the dawn of civilization.
