“I used artificial intelligence as a tool to create works. Can an image created by a non-human entity really evoke an emotion in us? AI does not create works of art by itself, but if a human feels something when looking at them, is the question of the origin of the creation fundamentally important? This work is a continuation of my previous work on Still Life, but it also raises another question: can an image produced by a being devoid of emotions still move us? “
Woojung Park has also participated in numerous group exhibitions in France, South Korea, and internationally, including at the Bastille Design Center in Paris and the Dakshinachitra Museum in Chennai, India. Woojung Park explores themes such as identity, beauty, memory, and transformation.
His work is characterized by a conceptual and poetic approach, blending photography, video, and installations. He is particularly interested in the contrasts between tradition and modernity, nature and artifice, life and death. -
