Description
This table lamp, manufactured by the Swedish company Aneta, is a representative example of late mid-century Scandinavian design. The fixture features a substantial turned pine column base supporting a large domed textile shade. The shade is distinguished by a wide, decorative lace trim that diffuses light through an intricate pattern, creating a soft, warm ambient glow. This model was produced as part of a series that included matching floor and pendant versions.
Aneta Belysning AB was established in 1947 in Växjö, Sweden, initially specializing in handcrafted textile lampshades. Over the decades, it became a leading supplier of decorative home lighting in the Nordic region. Today, it operates as Aneta Lighting AB under the Norwegian group Byggma ASA. -
