Description
This elegant Art Deco chandelier was realized in France circa 1930. It offers a silvered bronze frame with a pyramidal body and four conical shades that descend from the cantilevered arms. The frosted glass of the body and shades is etched in bas relief with cubist motifs including demilune and streamlined forms. The fixture attaches to the sculptural striated sunburst canopy via four rectangular rods. With its clean lines and monochromatic palate, this chandelier is as versatile as it is aesthetically pleasing, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Deco to contemporary. It is in excellent vintage condition. The height can be adjusted to suit. The chandelier accommodates five candelabra based bulbs offering up to 300 watts of light.
France, circa 1930
