Description
This elegant Art Deco table lamp, crafted in France circa 1930, is a striking example of early 20th-century design, blending intricate craftsmanship with bold artistic motifs. Made of silvered bronze, the lamp is notable for its exquisite detailing, including a reversed etched glass panel depicting a leaping gazelle motif. The gazelle, a symbol of grace and speed, reflects the themes of nature and dynamism that were central to Art Deco design. This table lamp is as functional as it is artistic. It provides soft, ambient lighting, perfect for creating a warm and atmospheric glow in living rooms, bedrooms, or workspaces, while serving as a sculptural piece that tells a visual story. The combination of the dynamic gazelle image, silvered bronze finish, and clean lines makes the lamp a versatile statement piece that complements Art Deco interiors or blends seamlessly into transitional or contemporary settings. This Art Deco silvered bronze table lamp is a superb example of both technical innovation and artistic design from the 1930s. Styling beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Chic Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, this lamp accommodates two mini-bayonette base bulbs achieving up to 120 watts of light. In Good Vintage Condition.
